I just found a good target that's weaker, but still has plenty of tech. He's also unaligned. Provided that the guy I'm fighting at present accepts peace, I'm going to prepare to attack this guy.

I freaking hate vultures. What they do is wait until someone starts a war with a nation for tech, and then they join in so they have security. I just want to say "Dude get your own" sometimes........


Well, this guy won't be around long.

Which is why you coordinate tech raids with three members of your own alliance and you all declare at the same time.

Had them back in some of my previous alliance ... Called them Seek and Destroy and Roving Death Squads. I did it myself for a while till I got up to about 12k NS then it no longer became profitable to tech raid. Sometimes I miss those days. That was fun.

The important part is to find two other nations in your alliance in your strength range. Find a target and all three declare at the same time. No Vultures and all spoils of war are shared evenly and equally help the alliance. The alliance that raids together stays together.

I used to hate it when a vulture would get in who didnt know how to raid and the guy would be anarchied in 5 mins and instead of milking the tech out of them, all of it gets lost when the nation gets deleted for inactivity. Made me want to find them and really punch them in the face hard.

If you don't know how to tech raid ... DONT DO IT.

We need more people to get CNTM. There's only 3(4?) members in our whole alliance on there and we don't exceed 10k NS.......yet. Join up, and we'll appreciate the extra muscle!

and prevent that warmonger from looting and molesting your nation,
I shall do so. After all your nation is within my range.

As much as possible, I do not want to wage war. So if there is any other way that I can help, I shall do what I can.

There have been several incidents now where actions in CN:TE are resulting in retaliations in CN. I'm thinking for the future that everyone should keep their CN:TE nation identities confidential at least within our alliance so that any actions in CN:TE do not result in repercussions or bad karma for IngSoc.

I have a nation I've kept secret on TE and will be buying nukes in the next few days sometime and my full intent is to go nuclear in my first war. Naturally, I do not want this coming back to haunt me or IngSoc so I've scrupulously kept my TE nation name a secret.

If for the best interest of IngSoc so shall be it.

However, the intelligence ministries of other alliances would discover it sooner or later.

Even hiding your identity for now may not be the solution.

Still the best way is to keep your TE nation from randomly and foolishly selecting targets.

Just be careful in the wars you are waging upon.

sphere, I'm going to change my password back when I get the chance simply because the right to access an account belongs solely to the owner. I'm sure you understand. There will be a reward for your help in TE.

I've told no one my nation name in TE and I've used no one's forums with that user name so no one has my IP address connected to my TE nation.

My whole goal is to be nuclear armed and when someone eventually DoW's me and the alliance I'm aligned with then I'll get to have a whole ton of fun! I won't aggressively attack anyone unless the final week comes and I'm still at peace.

I've read some of the chatter on the CN forums and I really wonder why people get all hopped up about wars in TE since the games reset on a schedule anyway. But since some people just have to be stupid about it I figure it's best to keep my TE nation name a secret.

Well, in the current round of TE, I am entered as Yuurei of Seventeen, and am quietly a member of MHA. I doubt it will happen, but it would be cool it I could win us a chance to make an official alliance flag.
